The Katy Prairie Conservancy Volunteer Orientation
Come out and learn about volunteering with KPC, work in our native plant nursery, or learn about nature at night. Participants will learn about the mission of the Katy Prairie Conservancy, the animals, plants, and agricultural heritage that we are seeking to protect; the ways in which we partner with the community to accomplish these goals, and volunteer opportunities that are available with KPC. The orientation session will include an informative hike at KPC’s field office preserve. All participants should wear appropriate outdoor clothing, including closed-toe shoes, and bring their own insect repellent and water.
